I was fortunate enough to receive a new toy from Cepia and Mom Select to test out. It has only been put in select stores in the Phoenix area as the test market.
GoGo Pets are electronic hamsters. Let's face it, every kid asks their mom for one EVENTUALLY! I know I did but was never allowed to have one so I finally had my first hamster when I was 20 and I named him Cujo. Cujo died suddenly and very shortly after I got him. I was so upset.
Anyone who has been reading my blog knows that my 14 year old just suffered the loss of her pet hamster, Thumper, recently. She had him for a year and a half. He made such a mess and smelled AWFUL! I was CONSTANTLY yelling at her to clean his cage.
The great thing about the GoGo Pets Hamsters is this: the don't poop, smell, or die! (well you will have to change the batteries but that's much easier than having a burial service).
My 3 year old (almost 4) LOVES this thing! The habitrail is really cool and fun. It's the first thing she plays with when she gets out of bed!
The only thing I can say that I don't like about it is the fact that it takes up SO MUCH room! We will have to get a storage box and take the habitrail apart which is not fun to have to put back together every time she wants to play with it PLUS the fact that as soon as she sees me taking it apart to put away, she starts crying tears!
There are different hamsters each with their own personalities. They have the cutest names, too: Num Nums, Chunk, Pipsqueak & Mr. Squiggles. You can check then out more at the Mygogopets.com
Check back next week because I will be giving away one GoGo Pets Hamster along with one piece of the habitrail (the garage and car). It is so cool how they get into the car and take off all by themselves!
I have a feeling this will be at the TOP of every 4 year old's Christmas wish list this year! If you live in the Phoenix area, they can be found at Toys R Us and Walmart stores.
